National Eligibility Test or the NET is the entrance exam for candidates who want Lectureship job or wish to pursue PhD in the future. The NET exam is conducted by the University Grants Commission. Yes, after MBA in HR you are eligible to participate in UGC NET exam, here are eligibility criteria: The candidates are required to have score 55 per cent marks in Masters Degree. The candidates who are in their final year of Masters programme or those whose examinations have been delayed can also apply. Paper pattern UGC NET first paper is a general paper common for candidates of all subjects, which offers general knowledge questions, logical aptitudes, teaching and research aptitudes questions, comprehension passages, basic functional mathematics, civics, general knowledge and so on. UGC NET paper I is common and compulsory for all subjects and must be cleared to be eligible for further evaluation of Paper II and III. There are 60 NET Paper I MCQ out of which 50 questions are to be answered. Paper II comprises of 50 objective type questions on the examined subject with no choice. In case of a candidate attempting more than 50 questions, the first fifty answers are evaluated. There is no negative marking in either paper. UGC NET third paper questions are descriptive ones on the subject concerned, including two essays of 20 marks each and three 15 marks questions on electives / specializations For detailed information here is attachment: |
