Rainbow Alliance under Wright State University support, educate and provide outreach and advocacy to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer Community and their Heterosexual Allies (LGBTQA).

It works to provide education and programming towards a better understanding of the LGBTQA Community and will work with other organizations to obtain this goal. It is a safer and healthy atmosphere that will nurture personal growth among all of its members.

It creates a mutual support network that encourages respect and trust among all members of the organization. It maintains absolute confidentiality on the basis of a member’s sexual orientation. No “outing” of other members will be tolerated. It meets every Wednesday during the Fall and Spring semester from 7:30-9pm.

Rainbow Alliance will accomplish our goal of empowerment, inclusivity, and education through service to others, support and advocacy, and an overall passion for the LGBTQA community.


Vision Statement:
Rainbow Alliance will empower members, create an inclusive, intersectional, and diverse environment, and involve and educate the Wright State community.

Boonshoft Pride
It provides a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, and ally people by promoting awareness and establishing an identifiable network of allies. It aims to extend medical education to encompass health-related LGBT issues through talks, panels, and community outreach.


Out in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (oSTEM)
It is a non-profit professional society that focuses on LGBTQA+ people in the STEM community. It empowers LGBTQA+ people in STEM to succeed personally, academically, and professionally by cultivating environments and communities that nurture innovation, leadership, and advocacy.
