When Will Be The Next AFCAT Exam

I have completed 12th and now want to appear in Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) so please tell me when will be the next AFCAT exam held? When will be the application form start to sale and what is the eligibility criteria required to apply for this exam?

I want to join Indian Air Force and for this I know I have to appear in AFCAT exam searching for details about this exam. Will you provide details like When Will Be The Next AFCAT Exam provide all important dates related to exam also tell what the pattern of exam so I prepare well?

The Indian Air Force recruits eligible candidates to its all three branches i.e. Flying Branch, Technical Branch and Non-Technical Branch through AFCAT exam.

AFCAT exam is held twice in a year i.e. AFCAT-I in the month of March and AFCAT-II in the month of October.

Important dates:


AFCAT-I AFCAT-II
Release of official notification of AFCAT 2019 December, 2018 June, 2019
Availability of online application form December, 2018 June, 2019
Last date to application form December, 2018 July, 2019
Admit Card availability January, 2019 August, 2019
Entrance Exam date February, 2019 September, 2019
Result declaration March, 2019 October, 2019

AFCAT exam pattern:


Question paper will include General Awareness, Numerical Ability, Verbal Ability, Reasoning and Military Aptitude.
All the questions will be multiple choice in nature having four choices where applicants have to choose correct one.
The duration of entrance test will 2.00 hours.
Paper will contain total 100 MCQ type questions.
Question paper will be of 300 marks where each question will carry 1 mark.
Penalty of 1/3rd mark will be imposed for attempting wrong answer.
