AFCAT Exam

Please provide here details about Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT), bcoz I want to participate in AFCAT exam provide info like: Eligibility, paper pattern & Pay and Allowances???

Indian Air Force conducts Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) for candidates to recruit them to Flying, Technical and Ground Duty Officer Branches.
This exam is conducted twice every year in February and August.

Eligibility:
Graduates (minimum 3 years degree course) in any discipline from a recognized university who have attained minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have passed Maths and Physics at 10+2 level or B.E./B.Tech degree (4 year course) from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers

Pay and Allowances

Fyling Offiercer will be entitled to Pay in Pay Band of Rs 15600-39100

On successful completion of Traning, the newly Commissioned Flying Officers would be entitled to approximate gross montly emoluments in different branches including Transport Allowance of major cities as follows:

a) Flying Branch - Rs 74264/-

b) Technical Branch - Rs 65514/-

c) Ground Duty Branches - Rs 63014/-

Date of Notification: 8th June 2015
Start of receipt of applications: 8th June 2015
Last date for the receipt of applications: 7th July 2015
Expected date of result: 3rd week of September 2015
Date of Exam: 30th August 2015
