AFCAT Exam Per Year
Please tell me the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) Exam held per year? Tell me from when will the application form of this exam available, give me there important dates of it? What is the eligibility criteria required to apply for the AFCAT exam?

The Indian Air Force (IAF) invites applications from the young Indian males and females for different posts of Flying Branch, Ground Duty (Tech) and Ground Duty (non-Tech). The Indian Air Force (IAF) grants two Commissions for the aspirants. One is Permanent Commission (PC) and the other is Short Service Commission (SSC). The Permanent Commission (PC) is only for males while the Short Service Commission (SSC) is for both males and females. Yes, Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is conducted twice a year by Indian Air Force (IAF) for recruitment for different posts. AFCAT Selection Process: For Ground Duty (Technical) Branch: One will be called for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) and Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT). The AFCAT will be of two hours duration and will contain multiple choice questions on verbal ability, numerical ability, reasoning, general awareness and military aptitude. Selected candidates will have to undergo further testing of two stages: Stage-I: consists of Intelligence Test along with other tests, document check. Stage-II: consists of Psychological test, Group Tests and Interview. For Flying Branch: One has to go through Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT). The AFCAT will be of two hours duration and will contain multiple choice questions on verbal ability, numerical ability, reasoning, general awareness and military aptitude. Intelligence Test, Psychological test along with other tests, document check, Group Tests interview & CPSS (Computerised Pilot Selection System) and or PABT would be administered to eligible candidates. For Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branch: One has to go through Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT). The AFCAT will be of two hours duration and will contain multiple choice questions on verbal ability, numerical ability, reasoning, general awareness and military aptitude. Intelligence Test, Psychological test along with other tests, document check, Group Tests, interview. |
