Ya sure I will tell you Openmat Exam details and dates so that you can prepare accordingly. Syllabus General Awareness Current AffairsIndia:Constitution, Government, Laws, Famous People, Achievements, Organisations, History,Geography, Economy, Politics, States. World: Countries, Organisations, Leaders, World Economy, Summits. Science,Industry, Trade etc. English Language Reading and Comprehension: You will be asked to read passages and then answer the multiple choice questions based on the passage. Grammar: These questions would test your skills in English grammar. This section contains questions like fill in the blanks , sentence correction etc. Vocabulary, Synonyms, Antonyms etc. Quantitative Aptitude This sections tests your numerical and math skills. The most frequent topics are: Algebra, Ratios and Proportions, LCM, HCF, Statistics, Mean,mode,median, Permutations, combinations, Progressions, Arithmetic Progression, Geometric Progression Geometry, Number Systems, Trigonometry etc. Reasoning This section checks your reasoning skills. The commonly asked topics are: Assertion and reasons, Assumption-Premise-Conclusion, Cause and Effect, Coding and decoding, Critical reasoning, Family tree, Statements and assumptions, Statements and conclusions, Symbol Based problems, Visual reasoning etc. Exam pattern There will be a total of 200 Multiple Choice Questions which you will have to complete in 3 hours time. The questions are divided into four sections. General Awareness : 30 Questions English Language: 50 Questions Quantitative Aptitude: 50 Questions Reasoning: 70 Questions Attempt all the questions you know and then try for the questions you are somewhat doubtful. This way you can save a lot of time and attend maximum number of questions. Fee Structure Course fee of Rs.1500/- per course can be paid through a Bank Draft obtained from any one of the scheduled banks in favour of "IGNOU" and should be payable at the city where your Regional Centre is situated (both at the time of Admission and Re-registration).
