Re: What is AMIE/AMIETE Examinations

Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) / AMIETE is a professional certification given by Institution of Engineers (India). This certification considers equivalent to a degree in engineering.

Eligibility for AMIE Exam:

Candidates having recognized 3-year Polytechnic Diploma or its equivalent
or
Passed +2/HSC/PDC with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with minimum 45% marks.

Candidate shall be required to pass the Institution Examinations in Existing Scheme and Revised Scheme.

AMIE examination fee:

AMIE examination fee :

Rs 2000 (rupees two thousand only) for candidates appearing in any center in India

$ 150 (one hundred and fifty US dollars) for candidates appearing outside India).
