Difference between AMIETE and AMIE
I have done Engineering Diploma and now want to do join AMIETE (Associate Membership of Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers) or AMIE (Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers) so please gives me Difference between both?

Difference between AMIETE and AMIE: AMIE is Associate Members of Institution of Engineers. AMIETE is Associate Members of Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers. The AMIETE is standing for Associate Members of Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers. And AMIE is Associate Members of Institution of Engineers. The IETE is the National Apex Professional body of Electronics and Telecommunication, Computer and IT Professionals. The IETE focuses on advancement of the Science and Technology of Electronics, Telecommunication, Computers, Information Technology and related areas. AMIETE is a national level exam qualifying exam for aspirants that is recognized by a number of Central Govt Several State Govts, Universities and Institutions in India and abroad for recruitment to several high-level posts and services. AMIETE is conducted twice a year in the month of June and December. There are 3 streams in the exam namely, Electronics & Telecom (ET), Computer Science and Engineering (CS) Information Technology (IT) In other hand AMIE is a B.Tech level examination in engineering, recognized by all State Governments, Central Govt., AICTE, UPSC etc as equivalent to B.E/B.Tech. Those who pass AMIE examination will get equal opportunities for job as well as higher education in both Govt. and private sectors, just like a B.E or B.Tech holder. It is a recognized engineering degree course that can be studied in distance education mode. Branches Available in AMIE: Following engineering branches are available for study 1. Architectural Engineering 2. Chemical Engineering 3. Civil Engineering 4. Computer Science and Engineering 5. Electrical Engineering 6. Electronics & Communication Engineering 7. Mechanical Engineering 8. Materials and Metallurgical Engineering 9. Mining Engineering 10. Production Engineering 11. Textile Engineering Eligibility: AMIETE Graduateship: Age: Not less than 16 years in the year of taking the entrance test. Educational Qualification: 10+2 or Equivalent with Physics and Math's and working experience in relevant field Or studying for higher qualification with Physics / Electrical / Electronics / Computer/Science Engineering. Or Diploma. Diploma (DiplETE) Age: Not less than 14 years in the year of taking the entrance test Educational Qualification: 10th or equivalent with General Science and working experience in relevant field Or studying for higher qualification with Physics / Maths/ ITI. |
