West Bengal School Service Commission Head Master exam details are as follows:

Head Master

Qualification:
The applicant should have Master's Degree from a UGC recognized University with at least 45% marks both at the SSC and HSC, 40% marks in the Honours subject at the Honours Level or 45% marks at the Pass Level for a candidate without having Honours Degree and 40% marks at the Post-Graduate Level, with degree in Bachelor of Teaching/ Bachelor of Education/ Post-Graduate Basic Training from any recognised University.

Age Limit
Maximum 55 years

Selection Procedure
The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Personality Test and Written Test scheduled to be held by the WBSSC

Part- I shall be of three parts: -

Part-A of 15 marks consisting of Subjective/ Short Essay Type questions to be answered in
English only,

Part-B of 15 marks consisting of Subjective/ Short Essay Type questions to be answered either in English or in Bengali &

Part-C of 15 marks consisting of Subjective/ Short Essay Type questions to be answered in English only.

Paper-I be of three parts:- Part-A of 15 marks consisting of Subjective/ Short Essay Type questions to be answered in English only, Part-B of 15 marks consisting of Subjective/ Short Essay Type questions to be answered either in English or in Bengali & Part-C of 15 marks consisting of Subjective/ Short Essay Type questions to be answered in English.

Minority Development Officer(Group – B) : 13 Vacancies

Fishery Extension Officer under West Bengal Junior Fishery Service Grade – II(Group – B) : 40 Vacancies

Research Investigator(Group – B) : 06 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria

For Post No.1 : Applicant should possess a degree of a recognized university, must have ability to read, write and speak bengali.

For Post No.2 : Applicant should possess a Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.Should be acquainted with social customs and culture of the Minorities of West Bengal.

For Post No.3 : Applicant should possess a Bachelor’s degree with Anthropology or Economics and Sociology.

For Post No.4 : Applicant should possess a 4 year Bachelor’s degree in Fishery Science from a recognized University.

Applicant should possess a Knowledge of Fisheries, Aquaculture, Aquatic resources and Fishing Harbours in West Bengal. Must be able to read and write Bengali or Nepali.

Age Limit :
For all other posts: Not more than 32 years.

For Post No.1 : Age should be in between 20-32 years.
