Re: Validity of SBBJ ATM Card

State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur (SBBJ) is merged with State Bank of India (SBI) on 1st April 2017. But the details of the Branches remain same, other than the change of name of Bank.

ATM Card

From 15th October 2009, customer of some other bank using an ATM of State Bank of India can withdraw a maximum of Rs.10, 000/- per withdrawal. From 01st July 2011, a SB account customer of State Bank of India using ATMs of other banks will be able to do 5 free transactions (Financial or Non-Financial) in a month an will have to bear service charges from the 6th transaction of the calendar month onwards. For other account holders all such withdrawals will be charged.

ATM (Automated Teller Machine) Cards of SBI (State Bank of India) issued after 13th November, 2002 with Maestro Logo have no expiry date.

ATM Security Tips:
1. Please sign on the reverse of the card immediately on receipt.
2. Change ATM PIN regularly.
3. Never keep the PIN with the debit card or write on it. Always memorize it.
4. Do not provide the ATM card and PIN details to anyone, including Bank/IBA/ RBI/Govt. agency/family/friends, etc. Bank or any other institution will never ask for this information.
5. Do not let strangers come in to the ATM room or take their help to complete the transactions.
6. Hide the keypad while keying in PIN at ATM/POS terminals.
7. Do not throw transaction slip in the ATM room as it contains account information.
8. Always wait till the ATM returns to the idle mode and the green light is blinking.
9. Insist on swiping card in presence in hotels/shops/malls, etc.
10. Never swipe card at POS machines kept at unknown temporary stalls.
11. Block and destroy old card, when get a new one. Register mobile number at the Branch to get SMS alerts for all transactions
