Hey buddy the Indian Forest Service (IFS) is one of the three All India Services, the other two being the Indian Administrative Service & the Indian Police Service.

Well buddy at present there are no recruitments in the UPSC Indian Forest Service (IFS)


UPSC IFS Eligibility Criteria:

Aspirants must have done Graduation with one or more of the subjects as Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Sciences/ Botany/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Physics/ Statistics/ Zoology/ Agriculture/ Forestry/ Engineering from any certified university/ institute.
Applicant who are appearing for the final year or those who are waiting for results can to apply for the examination


Candidates are required to be not less than 21 years of age and not more than 30 years of age to apply for the examination.

The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ ST candidate and 03 years for OBC candidates.

Application Fee:

You need to submit Rs. 100/- as application fee through net banking

Female, SC, ST and Physically Handicapped candidates are exempted from examination fee.

Selection Procedure for IFS Notification:

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of performance in Preliminary Examination and Main Examination.

The Indian Forest Service (IFS) Examination will consist of two successive stages:-

(1) Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination for the selection of candidates for the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination
(2) Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination (Written and Interview) for the selection of candidates for the Indian Forest Service.
