The Naveen Jindal School of Management (JSOM) awards some merit-based scholarships to graduate students in Fall and Spring semesters.

Each scholarship may have specific requirements based on the purpose of the scholarship, however, the JSOM Graduate Scholarship Committee will consider applicants for all available scholarships.

Scholarship requirements may include, but are not limited to: academic performance, anticipated graduation date, graduate program of study, residency, leadership, community service, work experience and level of student organization involvement.

JSOM Graduate Scholarships

All applicants must fully complete and submit the online graduate scholarship application and are encouraged to read the criteria and requirements very carefully to ensure meeting the qualifications.

Non-Texas residents including international students who receive a competitive scholarship of $1,000 or more from JSOM, may be eligible for in-state tuition.

For student enrolling in the Full-Time MBA Cohort program, you automatically apply for scholarships when you complete your program application, so please do not complete any applications below.

Continuing Dean's Excellence Scholarship-

The Dean's Excellence scholarship is awarded to enrolled continuing graduate students at JSOM that have demonstrated academic excellence and the Impact scholarship is awarded to enrolled continuing graduate students at JSOM who have provided astonishing services and displayed extraordinary impact to JSOM.

Award: $1,000 (one-time) tuition credit during scholarship award period.

Requirements, Terms & Conditions:

Applicants may be U.S citizens, permanent residents or international students.

Students must have completed at least 12 semester credit hours of graduate coursework at JSOM prior to the semester of the scholarship application.

Applicants must have demonstrated academic excellence as evidenced by Cumulative GPA (minimum 3.350) at JSOM.

Student must maintain enrollment of at least 5 semester credit hours per semester during scholarship award period, excluding semesters of internship and degree completion.

Continuing Dean's Impact Scholarship-

The Impact scholarship award is not based on student's involvement in student organization but about giving back in extraordinary ways in improving many aspects of the JSOM.

Award: $1,000 (one-time) tuition credit during scholarship award period.

Students must have completed at least 12 semester credit hours of graduate coursework at JSOM prior to the semester of the scholarship application.

Applicants must have demonstrated academic excellence as evidenced by Cumulative GPA (minimum 3.350) at JSOM.

Student must maintain enrollment of at least 5 semester credit hours per semester during scholarship award period, excluding semesters of internship and degree completion.

Fast-Track Students: Dean's Excellence Scholarship and Impact Scholarship

Award: $1,000 (one-time) tuition credit during scholarship award period.

Fast-Track students are not required to have GMAT or GRE score to apply for a scholarship.

Available to resident and non-resident students.

Students must have completed at least one long semester (Fall or Spring) of graduate coursework and at least 12 graduate semester credit hours at JSOM prior to the semester of the scholarship application.

Students must have demonstrated academic excellence as evidenced by Cumulative GPA at JSOM.

Student must maintain enrollment of at least 5 semester credit hours per semester during scholarship award period, excluding semesters of internship and degree completion.

New Dean's Excellence Scholarship-

Award: $1,000 (one-time) tuition credit during scholarship award period.

Applicants cannot be a current or former graduate student of JSOM.

Applicants must have demonstrated academic excellence as evidenced by their GMAT or GRE, TOEFL or IELTS score and undergraduate Cumulative GPA. Work experience is considered.
