Samundra Institute of Maritime Studies(SIMS), Lonavala GME- Graduate Engineering Course is a Pre Sea training programme approved by the Directorate of Shipping General, Government of India and offered by AEMA. Here are the details of it:

Scholarship:
Scholarships will be awarded to meritorious students at the institute's discretion.

Eligibility:
The applicant should have completed Graduation in BE (Mechanical) Engineering / Naval Architecture from an AICTE approved Institute with minimum marks of 55% in final year.

Not more than 25 years

Fees:
Joining fee Rs.50,000

Hindustan Institute of Maritime Training provides the scholarship to meritorious students of GME Course.

Scholarships for GME Course

Course name-P.G. Diploma for Mechanical Engineers (GME Course)

Scholarship amount-Rs. 25000 /-

Eligibility-

The candidates who have Scored above 90% overall in B.E/B.Tech are eligible for this scholarship.

Rules of scholarships

To continue the scholarship for the subsequent years, candidate have to maintain average of above 90% or 75% in the yearly semester exam (Both) without arrears.

Management reserves the right to offer or reject scholarship without giving any reasons.

First year scholarship amount will be awarded as Cheque in Student's name subject to remittance of complete 1st year fees.

Amount-Rs. 50000 /-

Eligibility-Scored above 90% in 12th PCM or those who are in the top 500 ranks of IMU CET list

2. B.Tech (Marine Engg.) or B.Sc (Nautical Science)
Rs. 25000 /-
Scored above 75% in 12th PCM or those who are in between 501 - 3000 ranks of IMU CET list
