UPCAT Ranking

Hello Buddy , I want to take admission in University of the Philippines so please tell me is there any role of UPCAT Ranking for the admission in this University??

Yes, University of the Philippines take applicant admission on the basis of on the basis of UPCAT ranks
The UPCAT consists of 4 subtests:
Language Proficiency (English and Filipino)
Science
Mathematics
Reading Comprehension (English and Filipino).
For getting admission in any campus of this University:
The UPCAT top-ranking applicants, based on the quota and the cut-off grade set by each campus, will qualify.
If you qualify for your first choice, you will no longer be considered for your second choice of campus.
But If you do not qualify for your first choice, you are automatically considered for your second choice of campus.

Campus qualifiers are then ranked according to the different grade predictors of the degree programs they chose. Top-ranking qualifiers are accepted according to the number of slots available for that program.
