Uttar Pradesh Common Admission Test Dental (UPCAT BDS) 2016 is a national level entrance exam.

This exam is conducted to offer admission in Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program in various Dental Colleges of Uttar Pradesh


Eligibility Criteria:

-Applicants should be of 17 years at the time of taking admission

-Applicants ought to pass in Higher Secondary Certificate examination or its equivalent examination can apply for the examination.

-Applicants must have scored at least 50% of aggregate marks in Higher Secondary Examination in PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) subjects taken together to apply for the examination (40% in case of SC/ ST/ OBC category)


Exam Pattern

-The test consist of 200 multiple choice questions of 3 parts namely:

-Physics

-Chemistry

-Biology- Botany and Zoology

-The time for the exam is about 180 minutes.

-Applicants 1 mark will be added for each correct answer and will not lose any marks for any wrong answer given.

-The distribution of subject and question is as follows:
