The University of the Punjab, Institute of Education and Research, in cooperation with the Virtual University of Pakistan and the Technical University of Kaiserslautern, Germany offer one year study programme for B.Ed. in Technical Education.

It is envisaged to train a new generation Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) teachers who have academic background in the fields of

Mechanical Engineering / Technology
Electrical Engineering / Technology
Civil Engineering / Technology
IT and Computer Science

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in Technical Education

Duration 1 year

Admission Criteria-

D.A.E. (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Architecture, Civil) + B.Tech (Hons);
OR
Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Architecture, Civil, Textile, Ceramics);
OR
Bachelor of IT & Computer Science;
OR
Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Home Economics; B. Arch: B.F.A.

Teaching experience is not required.
