Admission in MCA course at University of Calcutta will given on the basis of the written test . Candidate have to appear in that test for getting admission .

Eligibility Criteria for MCA entrance test :
Candidates should have B.Sc. Honours degree under (10+2+3) pattern .

Candidates have to secure 60% in Honours/Aggregate at graduation level.

Candidates have to secure atleast 60% marks in Secondary and Higher Secondary or equivalent level examination .

Candidates have to secure at least 60% marks in Mathematics at each level.

Basis of Selection :

50% weightage : written examination

20% weightage : B.Sc. honors mariks

30% weightage : interview.

Written test pattern :

There are MCQ type questions of 50 marks of 1hour duration.

Marks break up :
English : 10
Mathematics : 20
Logical Aptitude : 10
Computer Preliminaries : 10
