Central Board of Secondary Education would direct National Eligibility Test for Assistant Professor both in Indian universities and colleges. Important Dates: Online Form Submission 15th October, 2014 to 15th November, 2014 Last date for Applying Online & generation of filled Bank Challan for Fee. 15th November, 2014 Last date of submission of Fee through online generated Bank Challan, at any branch of (syndicate/canara/icici bank) 18th November, 2014 Last date of taking printout of Application Form, Attendance Slip and Admit Card from website 19th November, 2014 Last date for receiving the printout of online Application Form (one copy) and Attendance Slip (one copy) at the respective Coordinating Institution opted by the candidate (with fee receipt & category certificate(s) 25th November, 2014 Exam Date: 21st December, 2014 Sunday Paper Pattern:- The Test will consist of three papers. Session:- First •Paper:- I •Marks:- 100 •Duration:- 1¼ Hours (09.30 A.M. to 10.45 A.M.) •Number of Question:- 60 out of which 50 question to be attempted Session:- First •Paper:- II •Marks:- 100 •Duration:- 1¼ Hours (10.45 A.M. to 12.00 NOON) •Number of Question:- 50 questions all are compulsory Session:- Second •Paper:- III •Marks:- 150 •Duration:- 2½ Hours (01.30 P.M. to 4.00 P.M.) •Number of Question:- 75 questions all are compulsory Paper-I shall be of general nature, intended to assess teaching/research aptitude of the applicants It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the applicants 60 multiple choice questions of two marks each will be given, out of which the candidate would be required to answer any 50. In the event of the applicant attempting more than fifty questions, the first fifty questions attempted by the candidate would be evaluated. Paper-II shall consist of 50 objective type compulsory questions based on the subject selected by the candidate. Each question will carry 2 marks. Paper-III will consist of 75 objective type compulsory questions from the subject selected by the candidate. Each question will carry 2 marks.
