The details about the post of Veterinary Assistant recruitment in Animal Husbandry Department of Telangana Public Service Commission {TSPSPC} are as follows:


Educational Qualifications

i) One must have passed 2 years Animal Husbandry polytechnic course conducted by Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, Tirupati, in any one of the Animal Husbandry Polytechnics.

(OR)

ii) One must have passed Intermediate Vocational Course in Dairying and poultry sciences as one of subjects of study / 2 years poultry Diploma Course conducted by the Polytechnic, Ramachandrapuram of Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, Tirupati etc. /2 years Intermediate Vocational course in Multipurpose Veterinary Assistant.


Age:
Minimum 18 years
Maximum 43 years


Age Relaxations:
Retrenched temporary employees in the State Census Department with a minimum service of 6 months
3 Years

Telangana State Government Employees (Employees of TSRTC, Corporations, Municipalities etc. are not eligible).
5 Years based on the length of regular service.

Ex-Service men
3 years & length of service rendered in the armed forces.

N.C.C (who have worked as Instructor in N.C.C)
3 Years & length of service rendered in the N.C.C.

SC/ST and BCs
5 Years

Physically Handicapped persons
10 Years


Pay Scale

19,500 -, 58,330/-.


Selection Procedure
To select the appropriate contenders from all the applicants Telangana PSC conducts the recruitment rounds. Selection rounds consist of the Written Test and Personal Interview.


Exam Pattern
Written exam will be conducted for 300 marks and consist two separate papers.
Paper 1: General Studies and General Abilites-150 Marks
Paper 2: Animal Husbandry Polytechnic/ Intermediate Vocational Courses (Dairy/Poultry)-150 Marks
