Syllabus of political science in Punjab University
Hello sir I am student of MA Political Science of Punjab University and require the complete syllabus of this program so can you help me by providing the pdf file of syllabus. The MA program in Political Science of Punjab University is 2 years duration program. It is based on annual system. The Break-up of 20 marks for Internal Assessment (Theory Papers) is as below: 1. Test 10 marks 2. Class Attendance 05 marks 3. Nomenclature and Characteristics of Ancient Indian Political Thought. 2. Sources of Ancient Political Thought and Difficulties in the study of Ancient Indian Political Thought. SECTION-B 1. Political Thought and Institutions in Vedic Literature 2. Mahabharata SECTION-C 1. Manu : Political and Social Ideas 2. Kautilya SECTION-D 1. Political and Social Ideas of Guru Nanak Dev 2. Political and Social Ideas of Guru Gobind Singh. Sections A,B,C, and D will have two questions from the respective sections of the syllabus and will carry 12 marks each. Section E will consist of 8 short-answer questions which will cover the entire syllabus uniformly and will carry 32 marks in all, each short-answer type question carry 4 marks. The candidates are required to give answer of each short-type question in 50 words i.e. in 7-10 lines. INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES FOR ALL PAPERS Candidates are required to attempt one question each from the sections A,B,C and D of the question paper and the entire section E. As you are asking for Punjab University MA Political Science program syllabus so on your demand I am providing same here : Punjab University MA Political Science program syllabus Outlines Of Tests, Syllabi And Courses Of Reading In The Subject Of Political Science For M.A. (Semester System) i.e. 1st and 3rd Semesters November/December, 2019 And 2nd And 4th Semesters April/May, 2020 Examinations Outlines of Test Note : Each paper/course shall carry 4 credits/100 marks. A semester shall have at least 60 hours of lectures and 15 hours of seminars in the papers included in the Syllabus.
