Re: Sub-Inspectors In Central Police Forces

Dont worry I will provide you details of SSC Sub-Inspector (SI) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), so that you can go through the details of exam.

Selection procedure
1st Step: Written Test (Paper-1) (Objective Type) (200 Marks)

2nd Step: Physical Endurance Test (PET), PST and Medical Test

3rd Step: Written Test (Paper-2) (Objective Type) (200 Marks)

Exam pattern
Paper-1 is divided into 4 parts namely-a. General Intelligence and Reasoning, b. General Knowledge and General Awareness, c. Quantitative Aptitude & d. English Comprehension.

Total question paper constitute of 200 marks which includes objective types of questions also constitute in Hindi(part a, b & c)

Each part constitute of 50 questions of 50 marks.

Duration of the question paper-2hrs.

There will be a negative marking .0.25marks will be deducted for every wrong answer & there will be no negative marking for unanswered questions.

Physical Entrance Test /PET for all Posts
For Male Candidates
100 Meters Race: 16 seconds
1.6 Kms Race: 6.5 minutes
Long Jump: 3.65 Meters in 3 chances
High Jump: 1.2 Meters in 3 chances
Shot Put (16 lbs): 4.5 Meters in 3 chances

For Female Candidates
100 Meters Race: 18 seconds
800 Meters Race: 4 minutes
Long Jump: 2.7 Meters in 3 chances
High Jump: 0.9 Meters in 3 chances

Exam Pattern (Paper 2)
Paper- 2 is all about English Language & Comprehension

Duration of the question paper is of 2hrs which consists of 200 questions(objective types) of 200 marks

25 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer and there is no negative marking for unanswered questions

Question paper is set up in English only

Application Fee
Candidates should pay the requisite Application fee as per their respective category.

General Candidate should pay- Rs.100/.

Reserved category candidates, OBC, SC/ST and Female candidates are exempted from paying any fee.

The Application fee can be paid online through the Net-Banking, Credit Card and Debit Card. By Cash also it can be deposited in any bank branch of SBI through Bank Challan.
