I want to apply for UPSC Central Armed Police Forces (AC) Exam so can you please tell me the eligibility Criteria to apply for exam?

UPSC CAPF (AC) 2016 Exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission conducts written examination for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF)

UPSC CAPF (AC) Exam Eligibility

A degree from a recognised University or equivalent

Age Eligibility:

Minimum 20 years and Maximum 25 years

Female candidates can not apply for BSF and ITBP

Date of Notification: 12 March, 2016
Last Date to Apply: 8 April, 2016
Exam Date: 26 June, 2016

CPF Exam Pattern

Paper Subject Type Questions Marks Duration
Paper I General Ability and Intelligence Objective 125 250 2 Hours
Paper II General Studies, Essay & Comprehension Conventional 200 3 Hours

There is negative marking in Objective Type Question Paper.

Physical and medical standards test will be conducted only for those candidates who qualify the written examination.

Interview for personal test will be of 200 marks.
