Staff Selection Commission conducts the written examination for recruitment on the post of clerical grade in various central government offices.

SSC CHSL Exam in Detail:

Exam will be conducted in offline mode.
Candidates have to mark their answers using pen.
For marking their answers, they shall be given an OMR sheet.
To mark the answer, darken the appropriate circle corresponding to the answer.
There shall be 200 questions in total in the exam.
As per the SSC CHSL Exam Pattern, each question is of 1 mark.
There will be four parts of the question paper – General Intelligence, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness.
Each part will contain 50 questions.
¼ marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Total marks in the exam– 200.
1 mark will be given for each correct answer.
You shall be given rough sheets for calculation.
