Staff Selection Comission (SSC) conducts Graduate Level Competitive Exam for filling up the posts in various Ministries/Departments by selecting/screening the candidates for the Main examination.

Eligibility;

Qualification

18-27 years for Inspector’s of Income Tax/Inspector (Central Excise)/Inspector (Preventive Officer), Inspector (Examiner), Inspector of Post/Assistant Enforcement Officer and Divisional Accountants/ Auditor’s/UDCs, etc.

20 to 27 years for Assistants and Sub Isnpectors in CBI

Qualifications:
A candidate must hold degree of a recognized University, or equivalent.

Plan Of Examination

The examination comprises:
(i) Written examination
(ii) Interview for Personality Test for such candidates as may qualify in the written test.

The subjects of the examination are listed below:
General Intelligence
General English
Arithmetical Ability
General Awareness

Hey as Staff Selection Commission (S.S.C.) conducts Income Tax every year for recruitment The examination is held once a year, generally in the month of April:

As per my idea at present exam date of SSC Income Tax Officer has not declared

Salary

Salary of Income Tax Officer: Rs. 9,300-34,800 + grade pay of Rs. 4,600

Qualifications:

Candidates must hold degree of a recognized University, or equivalent.

Age limit

Candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years

Physical Test for male
Walking:Cycling1600 metres in 15 minutes.
8 Km in 30 minutes
Physical Test for female

Walking:Cycling1 km in 20 minutes.

3 km in 25 minutes.
