Become Income Tax Officer without SSC exam after completing CA
I am completed CA course and want to become an Income Tax Officer please tell me that can I become Income Tax Officer without appearing for SSC exam

No, there is no such way for CA to become Income tax officer directly without appearing for SSC exam. If you want to get job in a Income tax department you have to go through three stages: 1.Qualify the SSC graduate level exam. 2.Interview 3. Physical tests Eligibility for SSC exam: 1.candidate should have a graduate level degree from a recognized University or its equal 2. Age : 18 years and not more than 27 years ( relaxation is available for the candidates belonging to the backward classes) Combined Graduate Level Examination pattern: Combined Graduate Level (Preliminary) Examination: Combined Graduate Level (Main) Examination: Part II - Personality Test/Interview (wherever applicable) 100 Marks: |

As you said that you are a chartered accountant and want to become Income Tax Officer without SSC exam so it’s not possible to become. For becoming Income Tax Officer you will have to apply for SSC CGL Exam and then you can become Income Tax Officer. Eligibility: Qualification: Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree of any stream from a recognized University. Age Limit: Minimum age is 18 years. Maximum age is 27 years. Relaxation Age: 3 years for OBC candidates 5 years for SC/ST candidates Preliminary Examination Subjects: General Intelligence and General Awareness (Part A) Arithmetic (Part B) Mains Examination Subjects: General Studies English Arithmetic Language Communication Skill and writing |
