You want to appear for Income Tax Officer Exam after completing graduation, so yes you can appear for this exam for that you will have to give entrance exam. Eligibility: A candidate who is Graduate from the recognized University in any discipline can write SSC-CGL entrance exam. Age: General: 18-27 years For OBC: 3 years relaxation. For S/C S/T: 5 years relaxation. Nationality: Candidate must be a Indian citizen. Exam pattern: English Mathematics General Intelligence Reasoning GK Computer knowledge In question paper total 200 questions will come. Exam duration would be 2 hours. Each wrong answer costs 0.25 marks as negative marking. |

Education Eligibility: Candidate holds the bachelors degree in any discipline from recognized university. Age Criteria: Candidate age should be between 18 years to 27 years. Salary Criteria: Salary for income tax officer generally starts form approx 6500 to 10500. Selection Criteria: Selection of the candidate based on the written test followed by the interview. Written exam pattern: The written exam of the candidate based on followings General Studies 200 Marks English 100 Marks Arithmetic 200 Marks Language 100Marks Communication Skill and writing 200 Marks Basic Syllabus for the exam General Intelligence: Analogies, similarities and differences, space visualisation, problem solving, analysis, judgement, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation related concepts, arithmetic reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc. General English: Vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms etc Arithmetical Ability: Percentages, ratio and proportion, average estimation, rounding numbers, use of tables and graphs, mensuration, time and distance, ratio and time. |
