SSC CGL is an open competitive written examination conducted for the recruitment of personnel for Grade- B and C categories posts in various Ministries, Departments, and Organizations. Each year,

Eligiblity Criteria :

Bachelor’s / Graduation degree from a recognized University/ College/Institute
Applicant must be citizen of India and fall in the specified age limit. The Date of Birth recorded in the Matriculation / Secondary Examination Certificate will be considered valid only. Moreover, the maximum age limit is relaxed for the candidates from the reserved category.


About the Examination

The written examination of SSC CGL will consist of two stages –
Tier- I and Tier- II. As per the calendar,
Tier- 1 exam will be held on 08 May & 22 May 2016
Tier -2 will be held on 13 August and 14 August 2016
. Candidates who will qualify the Tier-1 exam will be eligible to appear in the Tier-2 Exam in August
