Here I am providing you details about SET exam. The State Governments to conduct the State Eligibility Test (SET) for lectureship, provided, the SET is duly accredited by the University Grants Commission (U.G.C.). Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have Master's Degree or P.G. Diploma from an institution recognized by U.G.C. Candidates can appear for SET in the subject of their Post Graduation only No upper age limits Candidates other than ST /SC category, who have secured at least 55% marks (without gracing or rounding off) in Master's or equivalent examination, are eligible for this test. OBC SBC DT (A)/NT (B)/NT(C)/NT (D) (Non Creamy Layer) Candidates must enclose attested copy of the caste certificate and the latest valid non creamy layer certificate (For current financial year.) The certificate must be in candidate's own name only. SET Exam Dates Online Submission Starts from : 10th September, 2013 Last Date of Online Submission : 30th September, 2013 Last date of hardcopy submission : 7th October, 2013 30th SET Examination on : 1st December, 2013 SET syllabus: There will be three papers for SET exam. Syllabus for the Paper I is given below:- Teaching Aptitude Research Aptitude Reading Comprehensions Communication, Reasoning (including Mathematical) Logical Reasoning Data Interpretation, Information Communication Technology People Environment Higher Education System: Governance Polity and Administration. Paper II and Paper III will be the subjects selected by the candidates. ENGLISH Syllabus and Sample Questions PAPER—II 1. Chaucer to Shakespeare. 2. Jacobean to Restoration Periods. 3.
