SCRA exam is held every year under the supervision of Union Public Service Commission. Important Dates Date of Notification – 11.10.2014 SCRA Date:- 18.01.2015 (Sunday) Exam Pattern:- Part I Written Exam:- Paper I - General Ability Test (English, General Knowledge, and Psychological test ) - 2 hours - 200 marks Paper II - Physical Science (Physics and Chemistry) - 2 hours - 200 marks Paper III - Mathematics - 2 hours - 200 marks Part II - Personality Test:- Personality Test carries a maximum of 200 marks The paper in all the subjects will comprises of Objective (multiple type answers) type questions only. The question paper (Test Booklets) will set in English only. |

Special Class Railway Apprentices (SCRA) is a very big department of Indian Railway Recruitment Board. SCRA exam be conducted generally in month of January February every year. Eligibility : Age Limit: 17-21 years. Upper Age Relaxation: SC/ST - 5 years OBC - 3 years Educational Qualification: candidate must have passed Intermediate or an equivalent examination with Mathematics and atleast one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination. SCRA Syllabus :- SCRA is a written exam that comprises of three papers; Paper I tests English proficiency, General Knowledge and Psychological Test, Paper II includes subjects like Physics and Chemistry Paper III is based on Mathematics. Eduvidya provides you syllabus for each subject. General Knowledge: - The questions for this subject will be asked on general awareness and current affairs. The standard of answers to questions should be as expected of students of standard 12 or equivalent. Some of the important topics are Man & Environment, Evolution of Life, Plants & Animals, Solar System & the Earth, History, Politics & Society in India, Constitution of India and its feature, Money and Taxation Price. Psychological test: - The test will judge the basic intelligence and mechanical aptitude of the students.
