As per your request here I am sharing the SAIL Management Trainee Recruitment exam Syllabus:


1. General knowledge & Current Affairs
2. Reasoning and mental ability
3. Quantitative aptitude
4. Vocabulary
5. Technical Question


SAIL Written Test Syllabus is divided in the three stages:
Stage 1: General Aptitude and Reasoning, English, General awareness.
Stage 2: comprehension types questions
Stage 3: Questions related to you engineering subjects

R.K.Rajput for Techinical in Aptitute

Handa & Handa

R.S.AGARWAL for General Aptitude

For English skill test: TMH edition and Upkar publication

For Technical related question: Graduation books and GK publication books.

For aptitude test : RS Agarwal book and Quantitative aptitude

For General awareness : Hindu newspaper and also from these links General knowledge & Current Affairs

Here I am providing the syllabus of SAIL Entrance Exam which you are looking for .

Written Exam Comprises of 2 Sections

Paper I will be of Technical Questions

Number of Questions : 150

Maximum Marks : 150

Duration : 90 Minutes

Paper II Comprises of 4 Sections
Quantitative Aptitude
General awareness/ Current Affairs
Logical Reasoning/ Mental Ability
Test of English Knowledge

Each Section Carries 25 Questions

Maximum Marks : 25

Duration : 1 hour – 60 minutes


Total Number of Questions : 100

Total Marks : 100

The Quantitative Aptitude will be of general . Topics such as Numbers, Age, Time and Work, Directions, Speed & Time, Pipes and Cisterns, Train etc..,

General English – will be asked in the test of english, vocabulary

Paper I

Technical Questions is the part where you have got to concentrate

ITI Diploma holders of various streams such as

Computer science CSE Engineers , Electrical and electronics EEE, Electronics and Communication ECE , Mechanical Engineers ME, Civil Engineers, Information technology IT will be asked tech questions according to the discipline you belong to.
