Anna University is a technical university in Tamil Nadu, India. The main university campus is located in Guindy, Chennai.

It was named after C N Annadurai, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on 4 September 1978 .

1. You will have to strictly follow the Rules / Regulations of Anna University.

2. Internet access will be provided to your laptop to limited websites due to security
reasons.

3. Travel and overseas sickness insurance is to be obtained in the home country prior to
arrival.

4. The concerned department will extend the facilities for research work during the
internship.

5. The candidate must hold a student visa.

6. You should keep some Passport size and Stamps size photographs to register as
foreigner in the

Bureau of Immigration, Chennai office.

7. Your residential permit must be for a stipulated period of time. Extension of your stay
will not be

encouraged at any point of time.

8. There is no financial commitment from Anna University for what so ever be the case.

9. Fees for UG programmes is 7500 USD per year (Two semesters)

10. Fees for PG programme is 4000 USD per year (Two semesters)

11. Discipline is to be maintained on the campus very strictly.

12. Smoking and consumption of alcoholic drinks / narcotics are strictly prohibited

13. Hostel facilities are not available on the campus. You may have to lookout for
accommodation

outside except in the case of full time under graduate degree programme students.

14. On basis of request, temporary accommodation can be arranged in the university
guest house on payment.
