The role/work profile of Transport Officer in ONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Cooperation) is as follows: 1. To maintain the records of heavy (crane, trucks etc.) and light vehicles (Boleros, Scorpios etc.) 2. To allocate the no. of vehicles to the particular department according to their need. 3. To decide whether to keep a vehicle RTC (round the clock) or for a half a day’s duty. 4. To release a tender for requirement of vehicles (heavy and light both). 5. To optimise the expenses incurred by the different departments for vehicles in ONGC by co-ordinating with them. Age Limits: • For Unreserved(General) : 30 years • For OBC : 33 years • For SC/ST: 35 years • For Persons with Disabilities(PWD): 40 years (further relaxed by 3 yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for SC/ST) • For Ex-Service men: 35 years Essential Qualification: • Graduate degree in Auto Engineering with minimum 60% marks • Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% marks Selection Process: • Weightage of GATE Score Salary Salary information: Pay Scale: Rs. 24,900-50,500/- Monthly salary: INR 60,000 |
