Qualification for Clerk in Indian Army
I have come to know that there is Recruitment in Indian Army for the post of Soldier Clerk. Would you please tell me what are the Qualifications required for this Post?

This Year Indian Army Soldiers Clerks Exam has already conducted on 4 - 10 January, 2015 but I am providing you detail about this Exam so you will be ready in future. Eligibility of Indian Army Soldiers Clerks Exam: Unmarried male Indian citizens (including those of Nepal) are eligible for appearing in Indian Army Soldiers Clerks Examination conducted by Indian army for clerical cadre appointments. Educational Qualification for Indian Army Soldiers Clerks Exam: Candidates ought to have cleared your 10+2/Intermediate exam passed in any stream (Arts/ Commerce/ Science) with 50% marks in aggregate and at least 40% in each subject. There is no criteria of marks if candidates have a higher qualification. Age Limit: 16 to 23 years. Physical Standards for Indian Army Soldiers Clerks Exam: Height: 167 cms, relaxable for certain regions. Weight: 50 kg, relaxable for certain regions. Chest: 77/82 cm. This Exam is consists of two written papers: Paper I (Time: 45 minutes Max. Marks: 100) The eligible candidates are called for a written test in 1. General Intelligence 2. Mathematical Aptitude 3. General Knowledge Paper II (Time: 45 minutes Max. Marks: 100) 1. English (50 marks): A Paragraph of about 15 sentences on one topic out of three or four topics (20 marks) Comprehension: A paragraph followed by 5 questions. (15 marks) English Grammar: Common Errors. Narration, Voice, Articles, Propositions, Transformation of Sentences, etc. (15 marks) 2. Mathematics (50 marks): There are 5 questions of 10 marks each. The questions are generally on Fractions, Percentage, Interest, Areas and Factorization. As you want here I am giving bellow info related to qualification for appear in Clerk recruitment exam in Indian Army: Eligibility /qualification 10+2 / equivalent Pass (Science/Arts/Commerce ) with 60% aggregate & 50% in each subject also/ should have passed English and Math/Accounts/ Book Keeping at 10th or 12th level. (I) Should have secured 50% marks In each subject and 60% marks in aggregate in class XII. (II) Should have studied English and Maths /Accts/ Book Keeping in Class XII or X and should have secured minimum 50% marks in each of these subjects, whether studied in Class XII or X. (III) Even if a Applicants is a graduate or has a higher qualification percentage marks scored in Class XII would be applicable towards his eligibility.
