No, student of J&K and Father from Army are not eligible for Punjab PMET, here are PMET details: Punjab Medical Entrance Test (PMET) is an entrance examination conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences for the admission to various undergraduate medical courses like MBBS, BDS, BAMS, and BHMS. The PMET is conducted for the admission to various government and private medical colleges of the Punjab state. Eligibility Criteria The candidate should be a resident of Punjab. The candidate must have completed his senior secondary education from the school in Punjab. The candidates must have Physics, Chemistry and Biology in class 12th or equivalent. The candidates should not be less than 17 years of age. Exam Pattern Here we are discussing the exam pattern briefly: The questions will be objective type consisting of 200 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The total time allotted to complete the paper is 150 minutes. The questions will be based on class 11th and 12th syllabus. No. of Questions: 200 Time: 150 min. Punjab PMT has been discontinued from 2013 and has been replaced by AIPMT (All India Pre-medical Test) to be held on all India Basis. AIPMT Eligibility: Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination. Age limits: Candidate should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission.
