Yes, you are definitely eligible to join Indian Army after completing 12th standard with commerce stream. To join the Indian Army one need to crack the NDA (National Defence Academy) Entrance Exam. The exam conducted by the UPSC twice in one year.

To Join in Indian Army Academy than you to satisfy the below eligibility Criteria,

Eligibility Criteria for NDA (Army) :-

Student’s age need to be between 16.5 years to 19 years

There is no upper age relaxation is applicable for any stream candidates.

Student should be Completed 12th with any discipline and candidate pursuing 12th Exam are also eligible to apply for the exam.

Only unmarried Male candidates are eligible and

Female candidates not eligible.

Applicant must be Indian Citizen.

Qualification to Joining the Army as Officer

Candidates who wish to join Indian Army as officer should have minimum passed a graduation degree. Only the candidates in the age group of 18 to 42 years can join Army.

Qualification to Joining Army as a Junior Commissioned Officer

The candidates interested to join Indian Army as Junior Commissioned Officer should have at least a graduation along with NCC ‘C’ certification.

Qualification to Joining Army as a Jawan

The minimum educational qualification needed is a matriculation.
