NDA exam take place by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Recruitment of aspirants to Army, Navy and Air force wings of the NDA, is through National Defence Academy Entrance Exam which takes place twice a year, generally in the month of March and August. Eligibility: (a) Nationality : Applicants must either be : 1. a citizen of India, or 2. a Tibetan refugee who came to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or 3. a subject of Nepal, or 4. a subject of Bhutan (b) Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status : Candidates must be an unmarried male and have attained the age of 16 1/2 years and must not have attained the age 19 years on the 1st January Aspirants who marries during training shall be discharged (c) Educational Qualifications : 1. For Army wing :- candidates must be 12th Class pass 2. For Air Force and Naval Wings :- Students must be 12th Class pass Applicants who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply. (d) Physical Standards : Applicants must be physically fit (a Applicants must free from any disease/disability which is likely in interfere with the efficient performance of military duties. (b) There should be no evidence of weak constitution, bodily defects or under weight. (c) Height of students is 157.5 cms. (162.5 cms for Air Force) F Important dates: Date of notification : 21 Dec 2013 Last date for form submission : 20 January 2014 Date of NDA exam is 20th April 2014 |
