Default Re: How to National Defence Academy

To get into defence through NDA (National Defence Academy) conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) one needs to fulfill the following eligibility:

Educational Qualifications


(i) For Army Wing of National Defence Academy:
12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent exam conducted by a State Education Board or a University

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy:
12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University. One who is appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for it.

Physical Standards:
One must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination.

One who has resigned or withdrawn on disciplinary grounds from any of the training academies of Armed Forces is not eligible to apply

LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS - 10.02.2017 (FRIDAY)
DATE OF COMMENCEMENT OF EXAM - 23.04.2017(SUNDAY)
DURATION OF EXAM - 1 DAY


N.D.A. & N.A. EXAM.(II), 2017
DATE OF NOTIFICATION (WEDNESDAY)- 07.06.2017
LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS - 30.06.2017 (FRIDAY)
DATE OF COMMENCEMENT OF EXAM - 10.09.2017 (SUNDAY)
DURATION OF EXAM - 1 DAY
