Re: Private Doctor is gazetted officer?

A doctor will be considered as a gazetted officer only if he/she has completed his/her MBBS from a recognized government college and currently working in a government institution.

Private doctor is not come under Gazetted Officer.

A gazetted officer is a civil servant and is an officer in Indian government service whose signature is required for attesting certificate copies & photograps of a person.
