University of Calcutta invites the application for admission to the Ph.D. Programme in Business Management every year .

Eligibility:

Applicants must have done Post Graduate Degree in Commerce, Social Sciences, Humanities , Business Management, Human Resources (excluding Fine Arts & Dramatics), Physical Sciences, Law, Technology, Library Science,Medicine or allied disciplines from Calcutta University. .

Admission Criteria

The Ph.D. Entrance Test will be of 100 marks of 3 hours duration.

i. ‘Analysis of a Business Issue’ with weightage of 30%.

ii. Quantitative and logical reasoning with weightage of 40%.

iii. ‘A concept paper (on one of the given research themes)’ with weightage of 30%

Date of Examination: second week of September 2015

University of Calcutta offers Ph.D in Business Management and applications are invited for admission process to the Ph.D. Programme in Business Management

Eligibility for the PhD Program:

Post Graduate Degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Commerce, Social Sciences, Humanities (excluding Fine Arts & Dramatics), Physical Sciences, Law, Library Science, Technology, Medicine or allied disciplines from Calcutta University.

Applicants having comparable educational qualifications from other UGC recognized Universities must obtain prior correspondence clearance from the Registrar’s Office, University of Calcutta and inform the Head’s Office on or before 06.09.2011.

Admission Test for the PhD Program:

The Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) consist of 100 marks of 3 (three) hours duration. The main subjects are of setting the Entrance Test Paper will be namely the following:
i. Quantitative and logical reasoning with weightage of 40%.
ii. ‘Analysis of a Business Issue’ with weightage of 30%.
iii. ‘A concept paper (on one of the given research themes)’ with weightage of 30%
