Hi I want to know the last date of submission of form of PGCET exam for MBA and tell me the cost of application form?

Karnataka Examination Authority, KEA is set to conduct the Post Graduation Common Entrance Test (PGCET) for admissions in MBA, MCA, M Arch. MTech., ME and various other PG Courses.

PGCET Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must have passed the qualifying examination or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates ) in aggregate

Candidates must meet the domicile requirements as specified.

They must have studied for a minimum seven years from Class I to the qualifying exam.

Candidates with valid GATE score will be given preference and need not appear for Karnataka PGCET 2014.

Tentative Important Dates:

Commencement of Entry of Application Online: 30th June 2014
Payment at SBM / E-Payment post office from: 02nd July 2014
Last Date of Entry of Application details online: 10th July 2014
Last date to pay the fee in the E-Payment Post Office: 12th July 2014 Downloading of Admission Tickets on or after: 20th July 204

Application Form Fees: Rs.650 ( Rs.500 for SC/ST candidates of Karnataka)

Exam Pattern:

Duration of the exam is 120 minutes

Total Marks are 100

Total No of Questions is 75 as follows:

Part 1: 50 questions of 1 mark each

Part 2: 25 questions of 2 marks each

KARNATAKA PGCET stands for Karnataka post graduate common entrance test. It is an entrance test conducted by karnataka examination authority to invite application from students for post graduates courses.

Educational qualification:

• A student must have a Graduate degree under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern under any discipline securing at least 50% marks in aggregate including languages from a recognized university or college.
• Or a student can have Honours degree under 10+2+4 pattern from a recognized university /college under UGC Act having atleast 50% marks in aggregate including languages.
• Students who have passed bachelor / master degree through correspondence / Open University system are exempted from 10+2 pattern.
• Candidates who pass bachelor/master degree in any university system in single sitting pattern are not eligible to apply.

Question paper shall have two parts:

PART ONE: It consist of two sections

•Section D- Quantitative Analysis - 25 Marks

All questions are compulsory.
There shall be no "Negative Marking" for wrong answers.
Use of calculators is not be permitted.
Mobile phones are not allowed in the examination hall.
