The Karnataka Examination Authority will conduct the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test-2015 for those candidates who want to take admission into the first year or first semester of full time and part time courses in M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch in Government / University / Private Aided / Private Un-Aided professional educational institutions in the state of Karnataka.

You need dates but for year 2015, dates are announced so here I am giving tentative dates for Karnataka PGCET:

Eligibility;
Candidates should process the Bachelor’s Degree and obtained 50% for General/OBC and 45% for SC/ST from recognized University/ Institutes

Application Fee:-
Rs. 500/- for SC / ST category candidates
Rs. 600/- for General and OBC category candidates
Deposit the fee through online mode

Exam pattern

The Karnataka PGCET is conducted for the following main disciplines of Engineering:
Civil Engineering/ Computer Science Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Textile Engineering/ Polymer Science/ Environmental Engineering/ Architecture respectively

The exam will be done in two main parts- having objective type MCQs in the following manner-

Part 1- Common Questions

30 Questions of 1 Mark each

15 Questions of 2 Marks each

Part 2- Specialization Questions

20 Questions of 1 Mark each

10 Questions of 2 Marks each

Total Number of Questions: 75

Total Marks Allotted: 100

Duration of Exam: 150 Minutes
