The Karnataka Examination Authority will conduct the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test-2015 for those candidates who want to take admission into the first year or first semester of full time and part time courses in M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch in Government / University / Private Aided / Private Un-Aided professional educational institutions in the state of Karnataka. You need dates but for year 2015, dates are announced so here I am giving tentative dates for Karnataka PGCET: Start of Availability of Application Form Last week of June 2015 Payment of fees First week of July 2015 Last Date for submission of Application July 2015 Last date to pay the fees July Second Week, 2015 Hall Ticket Download from July Third Week, 2015 Karnataka PGCET 2015 Exam July Last Week, 2015 Result August 2015 Counselling August 2015 Eligibility; Candidates should process the Bachelor’s Degree and obtained 50% for General/OBC and 45% for SC/ST from recognized University/ Institutes Application Fee:- Rs. 500/- for SC / ST category candidates Rs. 600/- for General and OBC category candidates Deposit the fee through online mode Exam pattern The Karnataka PGCET is conducted for the following main disciplines of Engineering: Civil Engineering/ Computer Science Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Textile Engineering/ Polymer Science/ Environmental Engineering/ Architecture respectively The exam will be done in two main parts- having objective type MCQs in the following manner- Part 1- Common Questions 30 Questions of 1 Mark each 15 Questions of 2 Marks each Part 2- Specialization Questions 20 Questions of 1 Mark each 10 Questions of 2 Marks each Total Number of Questions: 75 Total Marks Allotted: 100 Duration of Exam: 150 Minutes |
