KCET is conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Full-form of KCET is Karnataka Common Entrance Exam. Every year it is held for admission of candidates into various college and Universities of Karnataka. Only resident of Karnataka who posses proof of their residency are eligible to write KCET 2015. Provision for candidates outside Karnataka is that they can write KCET only if they have studies 7 years in Karnataka, other wise they are not eligible. Eligibility: The candidates should have passed class 12th from Physic, Chemistry, Math/ Biology (for medical candidates). In qualifying exam candidates should have scored at least 45% marks. The Candidates should have studied above mentioned subjects in English Tentative dates: Applications Form will be Available From March Starting 2015 Last Date for Sending Application Request Mid April 2015 KCET 2015 May Starting 2015 Result of KCET 2015 will be declared on May end or June starting 2015 Counselling of KCET 2015 Mid-June 2015 Syllabus: Physics: Physical World & Measurement, Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Work, Energy & Power, Motion of System of particles & Rigid Body, Gravitation, Properties of Bulk Matter, Thermodynamics, Behavior of Perfect Gas & Kinetic Theory of gases, Oscillations & Waves, Practical Oriented questions Chemistry: Some Basic concepts of Chemistry, Structure of Atom, Classification of Elements and Periodicity in Properties, Chemical Bonding and molecular Structure, States of Matter: Gases and Liquids, Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Redox Reactions, Hydrogen, S-Block Elements, Some p-Block Elements, Organic Chemistry: some basic Principles and Techniques, Hydrocarbons, Environmental Chemistry, Practical Oriented Questions.
