National Institute of Nursing Education (NINE) is an integral part of PGI campus it is affiliated to the PGIMER, Chandigarh it offers nursing courses .it is WHO Collaborative Centre for Nursing and Midwifery development from March 2003.

B.Sc.Nursing
Duration :4 years

Eligibility :
Qualification :10+2 (Physics,Chemistry,Biology,English)
Age :17-25 years


B.Sc.Nursing
(Post Basic)

Duration :
2 years

Eligibility :
Qualification : 10+2 under 10+2+3 scheme or any other examination recognized by the Panjab University.

Three years bedside experience in bedside nursing or public health nursing in Central/State Govt. recognised hospital/institute.

M.Sc. Nursing (Medical,Surgical and Community Health Nursing specialities)
Duration :
2 years

Qualification :
B.Sc. Nursing degree or
B.Sc.Nursing (Post-Basic)
Two years experience in bedside nursing or public health nursing in Central/State Govt. recognized hospital/institute.

For foreign candidate:

Applicants belonging to foreign countries are required to route their applications through the Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, New Delhi.

Applicants have to obtain Eligibility Certificate from the Registrar, PGIMER, Chandigarh and clearance certificate from the Indian Nursing Council and submit along with the application.
