Re: Number of Questions in IIT JEE

IIT JEE Question Paper will contain question from Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry and the total questions are of 60, 20 from each section

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) conducts a Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) every year for the admission to its B-Tech.

Eligibility:
If you have completed 12th examinations from a recognized board with physics, chemistry and mathematics then you are applicable for IIT-JEE exam.But your 12th marks must be above 60%.

The age limit for this exam is 17 to 25 year old.

IIT JEE Question Paper pattern:
There will be two question papers and the duration of each section will be three hours.
Both the sections consist of three sections Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
The pattern of the exam will be objective type.
The exam is designed to test the comprehension, reasoning and analytical reasoning skills of the candidate.
The answers for each of the questions are to be recorded on a separate specially designed machine-gradable sheet of paper (ORS - Optical Response Sheet)
In some of the sections negative marking will be done for wrong answers.
A candidate can opt for question papers either in English or in Hindi.
