I want to know the total number of candidates appeared in University Grants Commission UGC NET exam on 30th June, 2013?

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the National Eligibility Test (NET) on behalf of the University Grants Commission for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship posts in Indian universities

A total number of 738955 candidates applied for University Grants Commission UNC NET exam, out of which 574448 candidates appeared in the exam on 30th June, 2013.

A total of 27402 candidates have qualified for the eligibility of Lectureship.

Out of these, 3684 candidates have qualified for Junior Research Fellowship.

NET-June, 2013 was conducted completely in objective mode in 78 subjects and at 79 centres spread across the country.
