Hello, here I am providing you the details of the number of the candidates appeared in the NCHMCT JEE exam as under:

Seats available:
The total number of seats available on an all India basis is approximately 7482.
There are 21 central Institutes of Hotel Management (IHMs) and 16 State Institutes of Hotel Management (SIHMs) that accept JEE scores. Apart from these, there are around 15 affiliated private institutes of Hotel Management which accept JEE scores.

Facts:
For 2014, around 21,600 candidates had registered for the all India level written examination for the academic year. This year NCHM JEE exam saw registration of 3977 more candidates.
As many as 17623 candidates registered for NCHM JEE in 2013. Out of which, 10,000 successful candidates were declared eligible to participate for counseling rounds.
Final admissions for the three year duration B.Sc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration course were offered to 6297 qualifying candidates.

Merit list:
The merit will be determined in the following order and procedure –
Higher marks in English
Higher marks in Service Aptitude
Upper Age
Candidates will be called in for counseling procedure as per NCHM JEE 2015 Result and Merit Rank
No personal Interviews & Group Discussions (PI & GD) will be conducted after the declaration of NCHM JEE 2015 Result for admissions to the undergraduate hotel management programmes

Cut off criteria:
As NCHMCT reserves 15% and 7.5% of the total seats for candidates belonging to SC and ST category. The council also reserves 27% of the total seats for OBC category candidates, provided they belong to the Non-creamy layer.
