Ok fine, As per as my knowledge the interview panel was consists of 6-7 people from industries only, No one were from any academic institutions.
Firstly they ask for your introduction and educational qualification.
They normally asked the practical questions which was related to your specialization in your field.

13.What is power plant? how many types of power plant are there in India?
14.What is the efficiency of thermal power plant and hydro power plant?
15.Why thermal power plant is more popular?
