Tips for preparing for Job Interviews as you want to clear the Interview round at one go are as follows: Practice Practice answering the interview questions and practice your responses to the typical job interview questions and answers most employers ask. Also have a list of your own questions to ask the employer ready. Research Do some researches of the Company for which you will prepare. Try to relate what you know about the company when answering questions. Get Ready Make sure your interview attire is appropriate for the type of firm you are interviewing for. Bring a nice portfolio with copies of your resume. Include a pen and paper for taking notes. Be On Time Always be on time for the interview which means five to ten minutes early. Stay Calm During the interview try to be relax and stay calm. Maintain eye contact with the interviewer. Listen to the entire question before you answer and pay attention or you will be in a embarrassing situation Show What You Know When discussing your career accomplishments match them to what the company is looking for and what you expect from the Company. Follow Up Always follow-up with a thank you note reiterate your interest in the position. If multiple people are interviewing you then send a personal thank you note to each of them. |

Keep eye contact with interviewer Don't Be too Familiar Use Appropriate Language Seat properly. Well dress up. Take Care to Answer the Questions Be prepared Be positive Some Common interview questions: What are your strengths? What are your weaknesses? Why are you interested in working for [insert company name here]? Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years? Why do you want to leave your current company? Why was there a gap in your employment between [insert date] and [insert date]? What can you offer us that someone else can not? What are three things your former manager would like you to improve on? Are you willing to relocate? Are you willing to travel? Tell me about an accomplishment you are most proud of. Tell me about a time you made a mistake. What is your dream job? How did you hear about this position? What would you look to accomplish in the first 30 days/60 days/90 days on the job? Discuss your resume. Discuss your educational background. Describe yourself. Tell me how you handled a difficult situation. Why should we hire you? Why are you looking for a new job? Would you work holidays/weekends? How would you deal with an angry or irate customer? What are your salary requirements? Give a time when you went above and beyond the requirements for a project. Who are our competitors? What was your biggest failure? What motivates you? What’s your availability? Who’s your mentor? |
