No. of Seats in DUMET

Can you tell me about the number of seats in DUMET (Delhi University Medical Entrance Test) in 2015 as I want to take admission in one of Delhi University’s College only?

University of Delhi, Faculty of Medical Sciences has decided that no separate Pre-Medical Test conducted for admissions to the undergraduate medical courses for admission in its three medical colleges.

The three medical college which are constituent of University of Delhi, Faculty of Medical Sciences are Lady Hardinge Medical College, (LHMC), Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS), and BDS Course at Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences (MAIDS).

Delhi University MBBS admission is done through AIPMT score.

University of Delhi, Faculty of Medical Sciences fills only:

85% MBBS seats of Lady Hardinge Medical College, (LHMC), Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS)
85% BDS seats of Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences (MAIDS)

Rest of the 15% MBBS and BDS seats are filled by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on the basis of All India quota.

AIPMT result is the basis for admission to 15% of undergraduate Medical and Dental course seats in Government Medical and Dental Colleges across India excluding Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir.
