Yes definitely after completing BCA you are eligible for the NIMCET exam .

National level computer application entrance examination is a qualifying exam for admission of applicants on basis of his/her merit to MCA programme at any one of the participating NITs.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should have Indian nationality.
Applicants should have secured 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) on a 10 point scale in either of the following three-years full time course :
1. BCA

2. BSc/BSc (Hons

3. BIT

Applicants who have passed BSc / BSc(Hons)/BCA/ BIT from Open Universities shall also be eligible.

Applicants have secured a B E / B Tech or equivalent degree from a recognized University are eligible

The NIMCET is a national level Common Entrance Test conducted by NITs for admission to the Master of Computer Application (MCA) programme.

NIMCET Eligibility Criteria 2015:

Candidates appearing for NIMCET 2015 should be:

Indian Nationals
Should have scored minimum 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale in full- time BSc / BSc (Hons) / BCA / BIT courses of minimum three years from a recognized University, or B.E/ B.Tech courses or its equivalent from a recognized University.

For candidates from SC/ST categories, the minimum aggregate percentage is 55% or 6.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale.

Candidates appearing for their final semester/ year exams in the relevant courses of B Sc / B Sc (Hons) / BCA / BIT/B.E/B.Tech or its equivalent in the year 2014-2015 are also eligible to apply for NIMCET 2015.

Such candidates should however furnish proof by producing a certificate issued by the Head of the Institute in which the candidate is studying in, stating that the candidate is appearing for the examination in the year 2014-2015.

Candidates who have completed or are pursuing B Sc / B Sc (Hons) / BCA / BIT courses from Open Universities are also eligible to apply for NIMCET 2015.

However, the eligibility of such candidates will be take into consideration only if the relevant programme has been approved by the UGC/AICTE and the Distance Education Council under the Government of India.

Applicants for NIMCET 2015 should note that the aggregate marks should be calculated on the basis of the marks obtained in all the subjects studied in all the years, including languages and other optional or additional subjects that has been studied by the candidate.
